Yesterday, I had the great honour of speaking at one of @amanda welliver's self esteem workshops for teenagers at the Aboriginal reserve near Cold Lake. This past weekend i had the honour of speaking to 130 11-15 year old teenagers about self esteem. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to the girls. I started the session with a bang by asking the girls, who thought they were ugly and about half the girls put up their hands. When I asked the girls who thought they were beautiful, only about 20 girls out of 130 put up their hands. While I was a little surprised, it confirmed what I thought might be true.
